January has seen the revamp of our kitchen after a few years of planning! This was made possible by a grant from the NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND.

We held a “KITCHEN REVEAL” event last week at which we were able to show users how to use the new range oven and dishwasher. We provided a light buffet and encouraged feedback ~ people love the new handwash sink, dishwasher, layout, range, new lever taps on all the sinks and the insert we have for the sinks to ease the strain of washing up.

Many thanks to CATERQUIP (GB) LTD from Blyth who carried out the work and to everyone who came along to check the kitchen out. Hopefully, the new layout will enable more use of the cooking facilities.
